General Resort Questions
Yes! Our shuttle runs every day and arrives every 20 minutes from dusk to dawn.
The Kartrite Resort does not allow pets. All unauthorized animals that are found on property will be subject to a $250 cleaning fee.
Please note that service animals are permitted for Kartrite Resort guests! Please refer to the ADA website for questions regarding what constitutes as a service animal. Service animals cannot be left unattended in a guest room and must be providing their service at all times.
There are two ATM’s located at The Kartrite. One is located in the main lobby and the other on the first floor.
There are 4 ports at The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark; two standard chargers and two Tesla chargers. This service is included in your resort fee and are first come, first serve.
There are! Our guests need their beauty rest and recovery after all this Catskills fun and adventure. Quiet hours are from 9 PM – 8 AM, so please make sure to keep the noise down and use inside voices during those hours! Please call the front desk if you have any concerns and front desk or security will assist you.
Shoes, shirts, and cover-ups for swimsuits are required inside public areas of The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark! Water shoes are strongly recommended in the Waterpark.
The Kartrite offers five beautiful trails! Take a gentle stroll down our freshly mowed Sullivan Trail; an easy .5-mile hike that wraps around a meadow. For those who are looking for a little more of an adventurous hike, try our Thompson Trail, a 1.9-mile scenic hike over our brook and through the beautiful Catskill woods.

Splash passes are The Kartrite’s waterpark admission passes. They can be purchased online HERE.
If your wristband breaks and is brought to the front desk, we will replace it for you. If your wristband is lost, there will be a $30 fee per band replacement.

A nightly taxable Resort Fee of $59 plus tax includes the following for each suite:
- Select daily activities & crafts
- Wireless internet access
- Waterpark towels
- In-room coffee (Keurig K-cup)
- Electric & Tesla car charging stations
- Self-service washers & dryers
- Access to hiking trails, map and nature guidebook
- Movie nights
- Children’s waterpark life jackets
- POOL TOWELS are available at the park.
- All Towels are RFID chipped.
- At the end of your fun day, please deposit towels in marked towel bins inside Waterpark.
- Towels are rescanned back into inventory.
Lost towel fee $25.00
(Day guests may bring own towel. The resort is not responsible for any lost towels)
Self parking is included in your resort fee.
Wheelchairs and strollers are permitted inside The Kartrite Resort. Skateboards, bicycles (and tricycles), scooters, roller blades, hover boards, and any other forms of wheeled vehicles are not allowed indoors. You can ride them outside and admire the beautiful Catskills Mountains scenery, however!
Yes, The Resort and Indoor Waterpark are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with some exceptions over the Holiday seasons. We’re open 7 days/week in June 2024.

The Kartrite does offer Kosher -Cholov Yisroel options, which can be purchased at The Highline, located on the main lobby floor or at Surfside inside the waterpark. Options include sandwiches and salads.
No. Cooking of any kind is not permitted in the guests rooms or on property. This includes crockpots, grills, flat tops and more.
Health & Safety Questions
Masks are not required on property.
Traditional stayover service has been discontinued and will only take place on the 3rd night of stayover of 4 nights or more. Suites will be thoroughly cleaned/sanitized between departure and arrival. Should you need any towels or supplies during your visit, please contact the Front Desk and they will be happy to assist you.
Indoor and outdoor daily Activities are scheduled with reduced capacity and social distancing.
Yes, most of our dining establishments will be open. Our eateries are seasonal. You can view our dining options HERE.
Yes, capacity will be limited inside our restaurants.
Guests are able to add additional waterpark passes to their room reservation to reach the maximum capacity per room. The cost is $75 per person per night.
We accept all major Credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express) and Debit cards. We do NOT accept apple pay.
That’s correct! We require a credit card on file when making your reservation. This same credit card must be presented with a valid photo ID when you check in. Your card will remain on file and will be authorized for $150 per day. This is strictly a pending charge in case of incidental charges and will be released at check-out. Depending on your bank the release can take up to 7-10 business days. The Kartrite Resort requires the first night’s lodging, taxes, and resort fee to be billed to your credit card when making your reservation, unless your reservation is a pre-paid nonrefundable stay. We are a cashless resort.
Yes, good thinking! An ID is required to check in, so please have yours handy when you arrive at our front desk!
Early check-in is available at 12pm for an addition charge of $60 and is based on availability. Please call our front desk at 845.513.8855 to see if early check-in is available.
You must be at least 21 years of age to reserve or check into a room. Identification is required at check-in. Children two and under are free and are not counted in the total room count.
Yes, all reservations are subject to a $30.00 + tax processing fee if cancelled outside the rate policy specific to your reservation. If you cancel inside the stated rate policy for your reservation, the entire deposit will be forfeited. Certain rate plans, promotions, and packages may be nonrefundable and/or nontransferable. Please pay close attention to the rate policy, along with terms and conditions, for any specific cancellation rules prior to booking. View our Reservation Policies.
Nope! You will not be charged a fee for changing reservation dates as long as it is 72 hours in advance. Please note that we cannot guarantee your rate will stay the same, as this is dependent on your new reservation. Cancellation policies for packages and specials may vary.
Of course, The Kartrite bell staff is ready to assist you upon arrival. There is no luggage assistance after 8pm. We do not have valet service.
A valid government issued photo ID is required to check in!
Check-in: Starts at 4:00pm. You can use the waterpark and amenities starting at 11am day of check-in. Early arrivals have full access to The Kartrite which includes dining, indoor fun, activities, entertainment and last but certainly not least, the waterpark!
Check Out: Is at 11:00am. Check out will automatically occur at 11am unless you purchased late check out. Checking-out does not mean you have to leave. After check-out, stay and have a full day of splashtastic-fun. Guests have full access to the park and all the activities inside The Kartrite Resort and Indoor Waterpark for the remainder of the day!
Wristbands can be replaced one time for a $30 fee each time.
Children 3 years and above require wristbands to access the waterpark. Ages 2 and below do not need wristbands.
Yes! Pack and Plays are available for $25 and should be reserved upon booking. Pack and Plays are limited and based on availability
Indoor Waterpark Questions
The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark provides towels for all waterpark guests! We also offer waterpark lockers of varying sizes for a small fee (small: $15, medium: $20, large: $25). Lockers can be reserved with a credit card only.
If you are only spending the day, you are welcome to bring towels. The resort is not responsible for lost towels.
Yes! You will receive 4 indoor waterpark wristbands per room, upon arrival. Get ready to splash!

We have deluxe cabanas! Cabana service not provided. Click here to learn more about our waterpark cabanas.
Nope! For the safety of guests, balloons are not allowed anywhere in the Waterpark.
There is no age requirement for mezzanine access.
