Are There ATM's On The Resort?
There are two ATM's located at The Kartrite. One is located in the main lobby and the other on the first floor.
Are There Charging Stations For My Electric Car?
There are 4 ports at The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark; two standard chargers and two Tesla chargers. This service is included in your resort fee.
Are There Designated Smoking Areas At the Kartrite Resort?
We do offer designated smoking areas at The Kartrite. Please note that we are a smoke-free property and there is no smoking allowed outside of these designated areas.
Are There Quiet Hours?
There are! Our guests need their beauty rest and recovery after all this Catskills fun and adventure. Quiet hours are from 9 PM – 8 AM, so please make sure to keep the noise down and use inside voices during those hours!
Are There Wheelchairs Available?
The Kartrite has two wheelchairs available; these are available on a first come/first serve basis.
Can I Bring Outside Food & Beverages Into The Kartrite?
Outside food and beverages are not allowed at any of our amenities or concession areas. However, Kartrite Resort guests are free to enjoy outside food and beverages in their guest rooms!

Shoes, shirts, and cover-ups for swimsuits are required inside public areas of The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark!
Is There Hiking?
The Kartrite offers five beautiful trails! Take a gentle stroll down our freshly mowed Sullivan Trail; an easy .5-mile hike that wraps around a meadow. For those who are looking for a little more of an adventurous hike, try our Thompson Trail, a 1.9-mile scenic hike over our brook and through the beautiful Catskill woods.

What Are Splash Passes?
Splash passes are The Kartrite's waterpark day passes. They can be purchased online HERE.
What Are The Hours For The Arcade And Indoor Fun Activities?
The arcade is open from 8am - 10pm Monday through Thursday and 8am - 11pm Friday through Sunday.
What is a Resort Fee?
A nightly taxable Resort Fee of $42 includes the following for each suite:
- Select daily activities & crafts
- Wireless internet access
- Waterpark towels
- Daily in-room coffee (Keurig K-cup)
- Electric & Tesla car charging stations
- Self-service washers & dryers
- Access to hiking trails, map and nature guidebook
- Movie nights

What Is The Kartrite's Policy On Wheelchairs, Skateboards, Bikes, Etc?
Wheelchairs and strollers are permitted inside The Kartrite Resort. Skateboards, bicycles (and tricycles), scooters, roller blades, hover boards, and any other forms of wheeled vehicles are not allowed indoors. You can ride them outside and admire the beautiful Catskills Mountains scenery, however!

What Time Do The Fire Pits Open?
The fire pits are open from the hours of 5pm to 12am.
What Time Does The Waterpark Open And Close?
The waterpark hours are adjusted seasonally for demand and capacity periods.

The Kartrite is not responsible for items lost or left behind.

Are There Kosher Options?
The Kartrite does offer Kosher -Cholov Yisroel options, which can be purchased at The Highline, located on the main lobby floor.
Meals are provided by Palace Caterers and include the following options:
- Pancakes $9.00
- Homemade Cheese Blintzes $ 12.00
- Sicilian Pizza $8.00
- Eggplant Parmigiana $15.00
- Spaghetti (Green beans/Red Peppers) $15.00
- Baked Ziti $15.00
Health & Safety Questions
Do I have to wear a mask?
For the protection of each other and our guests, our employees will wear masks. Our guests (3 years and older) will also be required to wear a face mask or a face covering except for when occupying a guest suite. Guests are encouraged to bring their own masks.
What is considered an appropriate facial covering for my visit?
Facial coverings in line with CDC's guidelines are considered appropriate for your visit, and should cover an individual's nose and mouth. Costume masks and veils will not be considered as facial coverings and are not permitted.
Will I have to wear my face covering while in the waterpark?
Yes, except when in the water or participating on an attraction.
What about face coverings when guests are eating?
We have arranged tables and seating so that guests can remove their face coverings while they eat. But we ask that they wear them at all other times.
Will my temperature be taken?
Guest temperatures upon arrival are not required. For the safety of all of our Kartrite guests and employees please select an alternate date to visit if you are not feeling well.
Are employees at the resort wearing masks?
Yes, all employees and vendors are required to wear masks. Each employee is provided a clean mask when they arrive and will wear throughout their shift. In select employee positions a facial shield will be worn to show you our smile. Staff have also been thoroughly trained on hygiene practices.
What if I have medical reasons to not wear a mask?
Face masks or facial coverings are a requirement at the resort for all guests age 3+. Information on NYS Executive Order is available here.
Do I have to bring my own mask?
Guests are encouraged to bring a mask with them when visiting. However, masks will be provided for guests in need. We recommend reviewing the CDC's webpage on appropriate facial coverings for additional guidance.
Do I need to bring my own hand sanitizer?
You may. In addition, we are providing alcohol-based hand sanitizer throughout the resort. Also, our employees will be cleaning and disinfecting high-contact items and surfaces frequently throughout the day.
How will you implement social distancing guidelines in the waterpark?
Some of the specific measures we're taking to implement social distancing are: attendance reductions, removal of select lounge chairs, designated visible spacing markers for line formation and staff queuing of attractions.
At the waterpark, will I have to wear my face mask or face covering while on the slides?
Face masks or face coverings are a requirement for guests age 3+. They will not be required on slides and in water attractions.
Do I need to wear a mask outside?
Yes. A mask or facial covering is required during indoor and outdoor enjoyment on resort property.
What cleaning measures are you putting in place?
We take cleanliness and hygiene seriously and we will be increasing efforts to help prevent the spread of germs. We're adding hand-sanitation stations throughout the resort, rigorous and frequent cleaning of highly touched surfaces and increasing hygiene signage in public and employee areas. We're following guidelines from the CDC on prevention and encourage our guests to do the same.
Will I receive housekeeping stayover services as a guest?
Traditional stayover service has been discontinued. Suites will be thoroughly cleaned/sanitized between departure and arrival.
How are you cleaning suites?
Our suites have an 8-Point High-Touch Protocol in place as part of the Kartrite Klean program.
Will Chill Spa be open?
Chill Spa has been permanently closed. Please contact our concierge for nearby spa service options.
Will Sweat Fitness room be open?
Sweat Fitness room will be open daily. Select fitness equipment has been removed to aid in practicing social distancing.
Will Playopolis arcade be open?
All Playopolis attractions will be open with the temporary closure exception of Carabiners and Amazequest.
Will the Woodstock playground be open?
The outdoor Woodstock playground will be open. Guests are encouraged to maintain social distancing during playtime.
Will you have an activities program?
Indoor and outdoor daily Activities are scheduled with reduced capacity and social distancing.
Will restaurants be open?
Yes, most of our dining establishments will be open. We have implemented new operational procedures to keep our guests and employees safe including social distancing measures, frequent cleaning and food safety training.
Are you limiting capacity for dine-in restaurants?
Yes, capacity will be limited inside our restaurants to allow for adequate social distancing measures.
Will Bixby's Derby be open?
Bixby's Derby will be open for dinner with reduced capacity. Reservations are highly suggested.
Will Bixby's Tavern & Tap Room be open?
Bixby's Tavern & Tap Room will be open with reduced capacity.
Will The Highline be open?
The Highline will be open with social distancing for ordering and pick-up. In addition, Highline breakfast items will be available at the Bixby's Breakfast Bar for families on the move.
Will EAT.EAT.EAT. restaurant be open?
EAT.EAT.EAT. restaurant will be open daily for an all you care to eat breakfast buffet with a reduced capacity. Self-service buffet items will now be served by our culinary team cafeteria style.
Will Harvey's Wallbanger be open?
Harvey's Wallbanger will be open for lunch, dinner and cravings for the ideal libation, with a reduced capacity.
Will Pop's Sweet Shoppe be open?
Pop's Sweet Shoppe will be open. Associates will be of assistance with candy by the pound and other previously self-service options.
Will Surfside Grille be open?
Surfside Grille will be open with social distancing for ordering and pick-up.
Will BAR MEZ be open?
BAR MEZ will be open with social distanced tables and cocktail request locations.

Do I Need A Credit Card On File When Reserving A Room?
That’s correct! We require a credit card on file when making your reservation. This same credit card must be presented with a valid photo ID when you check in. Your card will remain on file and will be authorized for $150 per day. This is strictly a pending charge in case of incidental charges and will be released at check-out. The Kartrite Resort requires the first night’s lodging, taxes, and resort fee to be billed to your credit card when making your reservation. Please talk to our team at the front desk if you would prefer to pay for your room with cash.
Do I Need My ID To Check-In?
Yes, good thinking! An ID is required to check in, so please have yours handy when you arrive at our front desk!
Do You Offer Early Check-In?

How Can I Make A Reservation?
Do You Require A Deposit?
Yes! The Kartrite Resort requires the first night’s lodging and taxes to be billed to your credit card when making your reservation.
How Old Do I Have To Be To Book A Room?
You must be 21 years of age or older to book a room! All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when checking in.
Is There A Fee If I Cancel My Reservation?
Yes, there is a $30 processing fee if you cancel your reservation at any point between the time of making your reservation and 72 hours prior to your check-in time. If you cancel your reservation later than 72 hours prior to your check-in time, your entire deposit will be forfeited. Certain special offers and packages may be nonrefundable or nontransferable. Is There A Fee If I Need To Change My Reservation Dates?
Nope! You will not be charged a fee for changing reservation dates as long as it is 72 hours in advance. Please note that we cannot guarantee your rate will stay the same, as this is dependent on your new reservation. Cancellation policies for packages and specials may vary.
Is There Luggage Assistance?
Of course, The Kartrite bell staff is ready to assist you upon arrival.
What Is An Acceptable ID?
A valid photo ID is required to check in!
What Time Is Check-In and Check-Out?
Check-in: Starts at 5:00pm. If you arrive earlier, you can still enjoy all of The Kartrite Resort’s amenities! Early arrivals have full access to The Kartrite which includes dining, indoor fun, activities, entertainment and last but certainly not least, the waterpark!
Check Out: Is at 10:00am. Checking-out does not mean you have to leave. After check-out, stay and have a full day of splashtastic-fun. Guests have full access to the park and all the activities inside The Kartrite Resort and Indoor Waterpark for the remainder of the day!

Indoor Waterpark Questions
Are Towels & Lockers Provided?
The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark provides towels for all waterpark guests! We also offer waterpark lockers of varying sizes for a small fee (small: $15, medium: $20, large: $25).
Can I Bring Outside Food & Beverages Into The Waterpark?
Nope! We do not allow outside food and beverages into the waterpark.
Do Children Need To Be Supervised At The Waterpark?
All children aged 12 or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while at the waterpark. We strongly encourage all parents to supervise their children regardless of age. Our certified lifeguards are also on duty to monitor all waterpark guests.
Do Guests At The Kartrite Resort Have Access To The Indoor Waterpark?
Yes! You will receive indoor waterpark wristbands upon arrival based on the number of registered occupants in your suite. Get ready to splash!

Does The Waterpark Close Due To Inclement Weather?
