The Kartrite Season Passes

ROOM RATES
Select room rates include the value of the room, as well as 4 waterpark passes, which can be used the full day of check-in and check-out. If the waterpark is closed on your departure day, access won’t be available. Our room only rates include the value of the room only. Additional guests up to maximum occupancy will be an additional $75 per person, per night. Children two and under are free and are not counted in the total room count.

DEPOSIT POLICY
To guarantee your reservation, the first night’s lodging and taxes will be billed to a major credit card or debit card at time of reservation, unless you booked a pre-paid non-refundable rate, at this case you will be charged for the full amount of your stay at booking. The same credit card or debit card must be presented along with a valid photo ID at check-in.  The cancellation policy may vary for special offers and packages. The Book Early and Save rates are fully pre-paid and non-refundable.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All amends to reservations need to occur before the 72 hour cancellation deadline. If you choose to cancel your reservation for any reason between the time of reserving and 72 hours prior to 4PM on the date of arrival, there will be a $30 processing fee plus tax. If you cancel within 72 hours to 4PM on the date of arrival, the entire deposit (first night’s lodging, taxes and resort fee) will be forfeited. Early check-outs are subject to the same cancellation policy. The cancellation policy may vary for special offers and packages, all pre-paid reservations are non-refundable. Reservations booked within a group block are held to the cancellation policy stated in the group agreement and are separate from the above policies. All pre-paid reservations are non-refundable.

For reservations staying between September 25 – December 15, 2024:
We’re pleased to offer free cancellations up until 5:00PM, three days prior to your arrival. This flexibility allows you to adjust your plans without any worries. If you need to cancel after this time, a one-night charge, including room rate, tax, and resort fee, will apply. This charge is equal to the deposit you’ve kindly provided upon booking.

CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEE
If a credit card is your preferred method of payment, a processing surcharge of 3% will be applied to all credit card charges. Debit cards are accepted as an alternative form of payment and will not incur a fee. Please let your front desk agent know at check in if you are using a debit card.

CHECK-IN POLICY
We begin our check-in process at 4:00PM. However, you are invited to use the waterpark and our other facilities starting at 11AM. The Resort will place a $150 PER NIGHT AUTHORIZATION on your debit or credit card as a security deposit for damages and charges will be processed on the credit card used upon check in. Authorizations are released on checkout day and depending on your bank the release can take up to 7-10 business days. Early check in is at 12:00PM and based on occupancy and availability and subject to a $60 fee.

CHECK-OUT POLICY
Check-out time is 11:00AM. That does not mean your adventure ends! You are welcome to continue enjoying the resort. Express Check-Out allows you to checkout of your room without having to return to the Front Desk. The credit card you used at check-in is billed for your charges or purchases during your stay, and a copy of your bill will be emailed to you upon departure. Every guest on departure day is automatically checked out of the system. Late checkout is based on occupancy and availability and will require a fee for each additional hour.

STAYOVER SERVICE
In collaboration with our Kartrite Klen program, we do not schedule stayover service until the 3rd night of a stay. Stayover can be reserved on other nights for an additional cost, based on availability.

NO SMOKING POLICY
Outside of the designated smoking areas, The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark is a 100% smoke-free facility. A $250 recovery fee will be charged to guests who smoke inside the resort; this includes inside the guest rooms, patios, balconies, water park and any other public areas. Smoking includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, hookah and vapes.

AGE AND CHILD POLICY
You must be at least 21 years of age to reserve or check into a room. Identification is required at check-in. Children two and under are free and are not counted in the total room count.

RESORT FEE
A resort fee of $59 plus taxes will be charged per room per night.

LOST WRISTBAND
If your wristband breaks and is brought to the front desk, we will replace it for you.  If your wristband is lost, replacements are $30 +tax for each lost band.

TAXES
The following local tax rates will be applied to all guest reservations.

• NY State Tax: 4%
• Sullivan County Tax: 4%
• Local Tax: 5%
• Total Tax: 13%

PET POLICY
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets on the property except service animals assisting guests. For more information regarding service animals, please visit the FAQ.

INCIDENTALS AUTHORIZATION
Upon check-in please have a credit card or debit card ready to hand to the front desk agent. An authorization for $150.00 per day as a security deposit for damages and charges will be processed on the card used upon check in. Authorizations are released on checkout day and depending on your bank the release can take up to 7-10 business days. Please note: This is not a charge.
