Find your kind of catskills getaway

No two Kartrite getaways have to look the same. Stay close to the resort, explore the Catskills, plan around food, golf, hiking, family activities, local culture, or a little bit of everything. Start with what your group loves most, then build the rest of the stay around it.

For Foodies

We have dining options for every mood at The Kartrite. Start with coffee and a quick bite at The Highline, gather for breakfast or a family meal at Eat.Eat.Eat., sit down for dinner at Bixby’s Derby, or keep it casual with Harvey’s Wallbanger. The surrounding Catskills add even more to the table with breweries, distilleries, and wineries as part of the region’s sip-and-savor scene.

Trails, Fresh Air & Room to Wander

There’s no need to leave the resort to get outside. With trails, fresh air, and room to wander, The Kartrite offers nearly 6 miles of Catskills scenery, with five trails that range from gentle walks to more wooded routes. Take an easy stroll along Sullivan Trail, try Thompson Trail or Toboggan Trail for a little more adventure, and enjoy a quieter side of the resort between meals, activities, and downtime. Trails are seasonal, and guests hike at their own risk, so check current access before heading out.

For Golf Lovers

For Golf Lovers

Monster Golf Club is located about a half-mile from The Kartrite and features an 18-hole championship course redesigned by Rees Jones, with multiple tee boxes for different skill levels. Make it the centerpiece of your stay, add it to a weekend away, or plan a group outing with time built in for dining and resort fun afterward. During golf season, The Kartrite offers shuttle service to Resorts World Catskills and Monster Golf Club.

For Families

Bring the energy. We’ll take care of the logistics. A family vacation at The Kartrite can be as busy or as laid-back as you want. Plan around arcade time, climbing, resort activities, and indoor waterpark fun, or use the resort as your home base for nearby attractions.

For Art & Music Lovers

Build a Catskills stay with a little more culture. Take in some theatre or visit Bethel Woods, the historic site tied to the 1969 Woodstock festival. It’s a natural add-on for guests who want music, history, and a deeper sense of place while they’re here.

Some of the best vacation experiences happen on the way in or out. Hit the shops at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, go rafting on the Delaware River, and have some fun at Holiday Mountain, depending on the season, schedule, and kind of trip they want.
