When you’re heading out on a trip, the last thing you want to do is spend all your time in the car. There’s a certain pleasure in getting up to The Catskills and The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark. It’s highway driving all the way. No two-lane roads to clog up. It’s quick and easy. We even have our own exit off Rte 17. Your kids won’t even have time to say “Are we there yet?”

The moment you exit the highway, you’re transported to another place. Continue just past our neighbors Resorts World Catskills and The Monster Golf Course, a little deeper into our woods – you can’t miss us.

Are Pets Allowed At The Kartrite Resort?

  • The Kartrite Resort does not allow pets. Please note that service animals are permitted for Kartrite Resort guests!

Are There ATM's On The Resort?

  • There are two ATM's on The Kartrite site one located in the main lobby and another on the first floor. 

Are There Charging Stations for My Electric Car?

  • There are 4 ports at The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark; two standard chargers and two Tesla chargers. This service is included in your resort fee. 

Are There Designated Smoking Areas At the Kartrite Resort?

  • We do offer designated smoking areas at The Kartrite. Please note that we are a smoke-free property and there is no smoking allowed outside of these designated areas.

Are There Quiet Hours?

  • There are! Our guests need their beauty rest and recovery after all this Catskills fun and adventure. Quiet hours are from 9 PM – 8 AM, so please make sure to keep the noise down and use inside voices during those hours!

Are There Wheelchairs Available?

  • The Kartrite has two wheelchairs available; these are available on a first come/first serve bases.

Can I Bring Outside Foods & Beverages Into The Kartrite?

  • Outside foods and beverages are not allowed at any of our amenities or concession areas. However, Kartrite Resort guests are free to enjoy outside foods and beverages in their guest rooms!

  • Shoes, shirts, and cover-ups for swimsuits are required inside public areas of The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark!

Is There Hiking?

  • The Kartrite offers five beautiful trails! Take a gentle stroll down our freshly mowed Sullivan Trail; an easy .5-mile hike that wraps around a meadow. For those who are looking for a little more of an adventurous hike, try our scenic Thompson Trail. Our Thompson Trail is a 1.9-mile trail that offers a beautiful scenic hike over our brook and through the beautiful Catskill woods.

What Is The Kartrite's Policy On Wheelchairs, Skateboards, Bikes, Etc?

  • Wheelchairs and strollers are permitted inside The Kartrite Resort. Skateboards, bicycles (and tricycles), scooters, roller blades, hover boards, and any other forms of wheeled vehicles are not allowed indoors. You can ride them outside and admire the beautiful Catskills Mountains scenery, however!

Where Do I Fill Out A Report For Lost And Found?

  • Fill out your information on Chagerback and we will notify you if we find the item(s).
    The Kartrite is not responsible for items lost or left behind.

Do I Need A Credit Card On File When Reserving A Room?

  • That’s correct! We require a credit card on file when making your reservation. This same credit card must be presented with a valid photo ID when you check in. Your card will remain on file and will be authorized for $150 per day, this is strictly a pending charge in case of incidental charges and will be released at check-out. The Kartrite Resort requires the first night’s lodging, taxes, and resort fee to be billed to your credit card when making your reservation. Please talk to our team at the front desk if you would prefer to pay for your room with cash.

Do I Need My ID To Check-In?

  • Yes, good thinking! An ID is required to check in, so please have yours handy when you arrive at our front desk!

Do You Offer Early Check-In?

  • Please call our front desk at 845.397.2500 to see if early check-in is available.

Do You Require A Deposit?

  • Yes! The Kartrite Resort requires the first night’s lodging and taxes to be billed to your credit card when making your reservation.

How Old Do I Have To Be To Book A Room?

  • You must be 21 years of age or older to book a room! All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when checking in.

Is There A Fee If I Cancel My Reservation?

  • Yes, there is a $30 processing fee if you cancel your reservation at any point between the time of making your reservation and 72 hours prior to your check-in time. If you cancel your reservation later than 72 hours prior to your check-in time, your entire deposit will be forfeited. Certain special offers and packages may be nonrefundable or nontransferable, please check the individual offer's cancelation policy before booking.

Is There A Fee If I Need To Change My Reservation Dates?

  • Nope! You will not be charged a fee for changing reservation dates as long as it is 72 hours in advance. Please note that we cannot guarantee your rate will stay the same, as this is dependent on your new reservation. Cancellation policies for packages and specials may vary.

Is There Luggage Assistance?

  • Of course, The Kartrite bell staff is ready to assist you upon arrival. 

What Is An Acceptable ID?

  • A valid photo ID is required to check in!

What Time Is Check-In and Check-Out?

  • Check-in: Starts at 5:00pm. If you arrive earlier, you can still enjoy all of The Kartrite Resort’s amenities! Early arrivals have full access to The Kartrite which includes dining, indoor fun, activities, entertainment and last but certainly not least, the waterpark! 

    Check Out: Is at 10:00am. Checking-out does not mean you have to leave. After check-out, stay and have a full day of splashtastic-fun. Guests have full access to the park and all the activities inside The Kartrite Resort and Indoor Waterpark for the remainder of the day!

Are Towels & Lockers Provided?

  • The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark provides towels for all waterpark guests! We also offer waterpark lockers of varying sizes for a small fee (small: $15, medium: $20, large: $25).

Can I Bring Outside Foods & Beverages Into The Waterpark?

  • Nope! We do not allow outside foods and beverages into the waterpark.

Do Children Need To Be Supervised At The Waterpark?

  • All children aged 12 or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while at the waterpark. We strongly encourage all parents to supervise their children regardless of age. Our certified lifeguards are also on duty to monitor all waterpark guests.

Do Guests At The Kartrite Resort Have Access To The Indoor Waterpark?

  • Yes! All Kartrite Resort guests receive complimentary admission to our Catskills indoor waterpark!

Do You Offer Waterpark Day Passes?

  • Of course we do! Check out our splash pass and have yourself a day-cation at New York's Biggest Indoor Waterpark!

Does The Waterpark Close Due To Inclement Weather?

  • For your safety, select attractions will close temporarily if thunderstorms are within radius.

Is There An Age Requirement For Mezzanine Access In The Waterpark?

  • There is no age requirement for mezzanine access.

  • The water in the park is set at approximately 82° and Affinity Springs is approximately 98°.

THANK YOU FOR BOOKING TO STAY WITH US IN THE CATSKILLS! WE LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR ARRIVAL. TO ENSURE YOU HAVE THE BEST POSSIBLE STAY, PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING POLICIES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE CONTACT RESERVATIONS AT: 844.527.8748. 

ROOM RATES

Room rates are for the base number of guests, additional guests up to maximum occupancy will be an additional $55 per person, per day. Children two and under are free and are not counted in the total room count.

DEPOSIT POLICY

To guarantee your reservation we require the first night's lodging and taxes to be billed to a major credit card at the time of reservation, the same credit card must be presented along with a valid photo ID at check-in.  The credit card provided will be charged for the first night of this reservation plus taxes for a deposit.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you choose to cancel your reservation for any reason between the time of reserving and 72 hours prior to 4pm on the date of arrival, there will be a $30 processing fee. If you cancel within 72 hours to 4pm on the date of arrival, the entire deposit (first night's lodging, taxes and resort fee) will be forfeited. Early check-outs are subject to the same cancellation policy. The cancellation policy may vary for special offers and packages, all pre-paid reservations are non-refundable.

Reservations booked within a group block are held to the cancellation policy stated in the group agreement and are separate from the above policies.  All pre-paid reservations are non-refundable. 

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT POLICY

Check-in begins at 5pm on the date of arrival and check-out takes place at 10am on date of departure. 

NO SMOKING POLICY

The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark is a 100% smoke-free facility.  A $350 recovery fee will be charged to guests.  

AGE AND CHILD POLICY

You must be at least 21 years of age to reserve or check into a room. All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Identification is required at check-in.  Children two and under are free and are not counted in the total room count.

RESORT FEE

A resort fee of $42 plus taxes will be charged per room per night.

PET POLICY

Sorry, pets are not allowed, except those assisting guests.

INCIDENTALS AUTHORIZATION

Upon check-in please have a credit card ready to hand to the front desk agent. The credit card will be swiped and authorized at $150 per day. This is strictly a pending charge so that you can easily charge concierge activities and restaurant charges to your room.  Upon check-out this $150 per day authorization for incidentals shall be released to your card if you did not choose to charge activities to your room during your stay. If you have chosen to utilize this convenience, charges will be made, and the balance will be released upon check-out.  Please note: This is not a charge.  This is a pending or holding authorization for incidentals.  If you have any questions or concerns, please talk to a front desk agent upon check-in.
